Nicole Farhi is one of the most trend-setting designers in the United Kingdom. She has clothing stores all over the world, along with restaurants in New York and London. Nicole Farhi creates subtle designs whilst retaining her own style: she uses wonderful fabrics and puts the garments together with verve.

A Frenchwoman in London

Nicole Farhi was born in Nice on 25 July 1946. She began her career as a freelance designer in Paris. In the seventies she moved to London where she cooperated with Stephen Marks for the French Connection label for a long time.

In 1983 Nicole Farhi set up her own fashion label. This gave her the opportunity to design clothing to her own taste and wishes; she would wear her own clothes, too.
